The Lux Detailer terms and conditions govern all services provided by our premium mobile detailing company serving Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, Beaufort, and Savannah. By reviewing these Lux Detailer terms and conditions, you will understand our service agreements, cancellation policies, liability guidelines, and payment procedures. By booking any service with Lux Detailer Premium Detailing & Ceramic Coating (“Lux Detailer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms govern all detailing, ceramic coating, paint correction, and related services performed by Lux Detailer throughout the Lowcountry, including Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, Beaufort, and Savannah.


1. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

We take pride in delivering premium results on every job. If you are not fully satisfied with the quality of our work, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion. We will gladly return to address your concerns at no additional charge. After the 24-hour window, additional work may be subject to standard pricing.


2. PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

To help us deliver the best results, we ask that you complete the following before our arrival:

Remove personal belongings from the interior, including items under seats, in the cargo area, trunk, and any compartments you would like cleaned. Locked compartments or those containing personal items will not be opened or cleaned by our team. Clear the vehicle’s interior of trash and loose items. If the vehicle condition significantly exceeds the scope of the booked service, additional fees may apply and will be discussed with you before proceeding. Ensure vehicle access. Make sure there is adequate space to work around the vehicle, and that keys are available if we need to move it. For gated communities, please provide gate codes or arrange access in advance. A commercial pass may be purchased on your behalf and added to the service cost if required. Provide water and power access if applicable to your service location. Our mobile unit is fully equipped, but certain services may require on-site utilities.


3. SCHEDULING & ARRIVAL

Our technician will contact you if they are running significantly ahead of or behind schedule (more than 30 minutes). While we plan carefully for travel time, we cannot control weather, traffic conditions, or how long previous appointments may take. We appreciate your patience and flexibility.


4. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer your time slot to another client. Same-day cancellations and no-shows prevent us from serving other customers and impact our small team directly. We reserve the right to implement cancellation fees in the future for late cancellations or repeated no-shows.

In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, we will work with you to reschedule at the earliest available time at no additional cost.


5. SERVICE LIABILITY & PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS

Detailing involves thorough cleaning, polishing, and coating processes that may reveal pre-existing conditions not visible before service. It is the client’s responsibility to disclose any known damage, fragile components, or mechanical issues before work begins.

Lux Detailer is not responsible for pre-existing conditions including but not limited to: scratches, swirl marks, dents, stains, tears in upholstery, cracks or creases in leather, clear coat failure, oxidation, or any cosmetic imperfections that existed before our service. The washing, drying, buffing, and cleaning process may make certain pre-existing conditions more visible.

If you clearly communicate a concern prior to service and an issue still arises, we will work with you to find a fair resolution.


6. CERAMIC COATING TERMS

Ceramic coating services require proper preparation including paint correction, which is performed prior to coating application. Results depend on the condition of the vehicle’s paint at the time of service. Ceramic coatings protect against environmental contaminants, UV damage, and minor surface abrasions but are not a substitute for proper vehicle care.

Warranty terms for ceramic coating packages vary by product and tier. Specific warranty details will be provided at the time of service. All coating warranties require regular maintenance as outlined in your aftercare instructions. Failure to follow recommended maintenance procedures may void warranty coverage.


7. PAYMENT TERMS

Full payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged. We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as digital payment methods available through our booking platform. Pricing is based on the service package selected at the time of booking. If additional work is needed beyond the original scope, we will discuss any price adjustments with you before proceeding.


8. SAFETY & SERVICE BOUNDARIES

For the safety of our team and the quality of our work, please do not ask our staff to:

• Perform work beyond the scope of the booked service • Use ladders or client-supplied cleaning products or equipment • Lift or move heavy objects • Clean up biohazard materials including human or pet waste, blood, or bodily fluids • Handle or restrain pets

We reserve the right to decline or stop service if conditions are deemed unsafe for our technicians or equipment.


9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Lux Detailer’s total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We carry full commercial liability insurance for your protection.


10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Lux Detailer reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
