Over time, your clear coat accumulates defects: swirl marks from improper washing, light scratches from daily driving, oxidation from UV exposure, water spots and mineral etching from rain, and chemical etching from bird droppings or tree sap. These defects don’t come off with wash and wax — they live inside the clear coat, and they need to be polished out.
Our paint correction process starts with a full decontamination wash: foam cannon pre-soak, pH-neutral hand wash, iron fallout remover, and clay bar treatment to strip every bonded contaminant from the paint. We then measure clear coat thickness with a paint depth gauge before a single pad touches the car — this tells us exactly how much material we can safely remove.
Only then do we begin correction. Using dual-action polishers and the right combination of cutting and finishing pads, we level the clear coat to remove defects and restore the gloss your paint had when new. Two-Stage Correction — For moderate swirls, scratches, and oxidation. Stage 1 uses a cutting compound with Lake Country Force cutting pads to level defects. Stage 2 refines with a finishing polish and soft pads for maximum gloss. Removes 85–95% of correctable defects. Typical time: 8–10 hours.
Three-Stage Correction — For heavily swirled or oxidized paint, show cars, and high-end vehicles. Adds a heavy cut stage before the two refining passes using compounds from 3D and Sonax. Removes 95–99% of correctable defects. Full-day job.
We finish every correction with an isopropyl alcohol panel wipe to strip polishing oils and reveal the true result. This is the ideal moment to add ceramic coating — options like Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light, Gyeon Mohs Evo, or NanoSkin G5 Pro Graphene — to lock in the corrected finish for 2 to 5 years.
