A recent aircraft detailing project at Hilton Head Island Airport demonstrates what our service delivers in a coastal environment. The aircraft — a Cirrus SR22 — arrived with oxidized paint on the cowling, salt air residue across the fuselage, and exhaust staining along the belly. These are typical results for any aircraft based near coastal Georgia waters. After our full exterior detail — hand wash with pH-neutral aviation cleaner, machine polishing to remove oxidation, leading-edge bug and stain removal, and aviation-grade ceramic coating application — the results were immediate. Before detailing, the fuselage showed heavy oxidation and surface contamination throughout. After the project was complete, the aircraft had a mirror-quality finish with ceramic protection rated for coastal UV and salt-air conditions. The owner noted the aircraft looked better than it had since delivery. This type of transformation is what we bring to every aircraft detailing job in the Lowcountry.
