THE WASH & DECONTAMINATION STAGE
Every exterior detail from Lux Detailer starts with a foam cannon pre-soak and pH-neutral hand wash to safely lift dirt without scratching. Wheels and tires are cleaned and dressed separately, the glass is left streak-free, and the paint is finished with a ceramic spray wax. From Premium Wax Exterior up, a clay bar treatment removes bonded contaminants invisible to the eye — brake dust, rail dust, tree sap residue, and industrial fallout that a wash alone cannot remove.
Higher tiers add single-stage paint correction with a dual-action polisher and a hand-applied heavy-duty wax. Our top Enhancement Correction Exterior includes single-stage machine buffing to cut swirls and light scratches, then a hand-applied heavy-duty wax — all performed on-site at your home using methods refined over years of hands-on experience. Single-stage correction improves most swirls and light scratches. Deeper scratches may need a second stage, quoted on-site.
A large vehicle means a 3-row SUV, van, lifted or dually truck, or anything oversized. The fee is shown on each package above. Heavy pet hair, embedded stains or sand may need Custom Work at $120 per hour, always quoted on-site before we start.
