On Hilton Head Island, salt air is non-negotiable. Whether your vehicle is parked oceanfront in Sea Pines, under live oaks in Palmetto Dunes, or near the water off Squire Pope Road, the 365-day coastal climate means accelerated clear-coat oxidation, swirl marks from improper hand-washing, and constant re-contamination from salt spray and bridge traffic. A ceramic coating from Lux Detailer creates a sacrificial hydrophobic barrier — UV-resistant, chemically stable, and easier to maintain than any wax or sealant. Book a mobile appointment and we’ll come to your driveway in 29926, 29928, or 29938.

Mobile service at your home or office in Hilton Head, SC. No travel fee. One price per package, whatever you drive. Oversized vehicles add a Large Vehicle Fee.
9H ceramic coating over decontaminated paint — 2 to 3 years of gloss and protection with proper care.
Every ceramic package includes full decontamination — foam-cannon pre-soak, pH-neutral hand wash, iron fallout removal and clay bar. Decontamination is not correction: it cleans the paint, it does not remove swirls or scratches. This package protects and enhances the paint you have — to correct it first, choose the package below.
Our most popular coating — the paint is corrected first, then sealed under 9H ceramic. 3 to 5 years of protection with proper care.
Correcting before coating is what makes the finish last. The coating locks in corrected paint rather than sealing swirls underneath it. That holds for a brand-new car too — factory paint arrives with sanding marks, transport damage and dealer wash swirls, and correcting them is what lets the coating bond properly.
Our most protective package — corrected paint, a 9H base coat, and a specialty ceramic top coat. 5 to 7 years of protection with proper care.
The top coat adds depth, slickness and durability over the base layer.
A large vehicle means a 3-row SUV, van, lifted or dually truck, or anything oversized. The fee is shown on each package above. Two $399 bundles can be added to any coating package. Glass & Wheels Coating — $399. Interior Ceramic Coating — $399: leather, plastic and vinyl cleaned, prepped and sealed with a specialty professional-grade coating. Either one is an add-on, not a package on its own. Heavy pet hair, embedded stains or sand may need Custom Work at $120 per hour, always quoted on-site before we start.
Our ceramic coating process begins with full clay bar decontamination and surface preparation, and our correction packages add a two-stage machine correction to cut swirl marks, scratches and oxidation — because ceramic coating locks in whatever condition your paint is in. Once the surface is perfected, we apply professional-grade SiO2 ceramic coating under our shade tent in your driveway or garage, on a day the weather allows. The result is a durable hydrophobic shield that repels water, UV rays, bird droppings, tree sap, and road chemicals. Every application includes full paint decontamination, clay bar treatment, and multiple inspection passes under LED lighting to ensure flawless coverage.

Yes. Golf carts are a primary mode of transportation on Hilton Head, especially in Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes, and Shipyard. We clean, protect, and restore golf cart interiors, exteriors, and vinyl seats. Salt air and sun exposure are particularly harsh on golf cart surfaces.
A professional ceramic coating is the best long-term protection against Hilton Head’s salt air. It creates a hydrophobic barrier that repels salt moisture, UV rays, and environmental contaminants. Combined with regular washing every 2-3 weeks, your vehicle will resist the island’s corrosive environment much better than wax or sealant alone.
Absolutely. We service vehicles at rental homes, resort villas, and vacation properties across the island. Whether you’re a full-time resident in Hilton Head Plantation or visiting for the week, we bring our full mobile detailing setup directly to your location.

Every service below is mobile — we come to your driveway.
Hilton Head Island’s ocean-front exposure creates one of the harshest ceramic coating environments on the East Coast. Salt spray from the Atlantic carries mineral deposits that etch into unprotected paint within weeks, while the intense coastal UV — amplified by reflection off the beach and lagoon surfaces — fades and oxidizes clear coat faster than inland areas. Vehicles in Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes, Hilton Head Plantation, Port Royal, and Shipyard face round-the-clock salt and UV exposure. A professional ceramic coating from Lux Detailer creates a semi-permanent hydrophobic barrier that locks out salt, water spots, and UV damage — keeping your car protected through the full island season without constant detailing. We install professional-grade 9H ceramic coatings on-site at your villa, home, or resort.
